The EMPI Super Kooler is the result of a collaboration between EMPI and CSF Cooling, delivering a next-generation high-performance oil cooler for Volkswagen air-cooled engines. Designed for Type 1, Type 2 Doghouse, Type 3, and Type 4 applications, the Super Kooler establishes a new benchmark in cooling efficiency, durability, and performance protection.
Extensive testing demonstrated major performance gains over the OE oil cooler thanks to a state-of-the-art bar-and-plate core design that improves both oil flow and heat dissipation.
Finished with an advanced Cerakote ceramic thermal rejection coating, the Super Kooler delivers exceptional cooling performance while maintaining lightweight durability and resistance to extreme heat.

RETURNS
We happily accept returns or exchanges as long as the merchandise is in NEW condition (never been installed/mounted), complete with all original packaging, within 60 days of receiving.
- We are unable to accept returns on beams, buggy in a box, engines, fabric, fenders, floor pans, suspension parts, transmissions, & windshields.
- Orders over $400 are subject to a 10% restocking fee
- ALL returns must be processed through our return portal. Any return sent back outside of the return portal will be refused. If you select Redo at checkout, your return label is FREE and your package is protected from loss, damage, or theft. (Not available on final sale or freight items.)
