Built for serious off-road racers and hardcore competitors, the EMPI 98-1287-B Modified 30 PICT-1 Carburetor is a race-prepped version of EMPI’s popular 30 PICT-1. This carburetor has been Baja 1000 tested and is SCORE approved for classes 1-2/1600, 5/1600, 9, and 11, making it an excellent choice for desert racing, Class 11 builds, and competition off-road Volkswagens.
To improve reliability in rough terrain, the float bowl is externally vented to help reduce fuel slosh and flooding. The original vent tube has been removed and plugged, the fuel inlet is threaded with a supplied screw-in fitting, and dual return springs are added to reduce the risk of a stuck-open throttle. The choke assembly has been removed and both sides are plugged for race-ready simplicity.

RETURNS
We happily accept returns or exchanges as long as the merchandise is in NEW condition (never been installed/mounted), complete with all original packaging, within 60 days of receiving.

- Orders over $400 are subject to a 10% restocking fee
