Empi 7320 Black Merged Exhaust System With Stinger For Air-cooled Vw Bug & Ghia. A True Merged Exhaust! Empi Now Offers An 1-5/8" Merged Competition Header System For Use With Special 1-1/2" Flanged Racing Heater Boxes Sold Separately. This Enables You To Have A Defroster/Heater System And Still Have A Hi-Performance Merged Exhaust System. Empi's 1-5/8" Large Diameter Mandrel Bent Tubes Are Cut And Fitted Into A Long Merged Collector For Smooth Flow. Header Features Extra Thick Flanges With Ground Surfaces To Ensure Flat Sealing Against Cylinder Heads. Finish Ground On Inner Weld Surfaces To Ensure A True High Flow Performance.

Note: Empi Black Headers And Mufflers Are Coated With A Layer Of Paint Which Acts As A Rust Inhibitor For Shipping/Storage And Will Burn Off Once They Get Hot. It's Recommended To Clean Off This Coating With A Good Solvent Then Paint With A Quality Hi-Temp Paint. Systems Are Not Warranted Against Rust.

WELL MADE

Nice pieces. I made a few modifications that I feel improves them. I trimmed off a significant portion of the flat stock so it conforms better to the shape of the door and looks less bulky. I also replaced the passenger side mirror with a convex one which is a great improvement. Finally, I painted them with bedliner for durability.
