Upgrade your air-cooled Volkswagen with the EMPI 38 EGAS Carburetor System, designed to deliver excellent power, throttle response, and drivability for both street and off-road applications.
Unlike a progressive carburetor that opens the second barrel only as additional throttle is applied, the 38 EGAS features a synchronous 38mm two-barrel design, allowing both barrels to operate together. This provides strong throttle response and increased airflow for performance-oriented engines.
This carburetor mounts on isolated center-section aluminum intake manifold featuring a true pre-heat system to help improve fuel mixture and drivability. An electric choke provides convenient cold starting and warm-up operation, making this setup well suited for street-driven vehicles as well as off-road VW applications.

We happily accept returns or exchanges as long as the merchandise is in NEW condition (never been installed/mounted), complete with all original packaging, within 60 days of receiving.

- Orders over $400 are subject to a 10% restocking fee
