PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The EMPI 34 PICT-3 Carburetor is a high-quality replacement carburetor for Volkswagen 1600cc dual port air-cooled engines. Designed to closely match the original 34 PICT-3 carburetor, this EMPI version adds practical upgrades for improved durability, drivability, and compatibility with modern fuel blends.

This carburetor features bushings on both ends of the throttle shaft to reduce wear and provide smoother throttle operation. It also includes a jet pack for high-ethanol fuels and/or header-equipped engines, making it a great choice for stock replacement engines as well as mild performance builds. Designed to clear alternators on late-model applications, it comes equipped with a 12-volt electric choke for dependable cold starts and everyday street use.

Nice pieces. I made a few modifications that I feel improves them. I trimmed off a significant portion of the flat stock so it conforms better to the shape of the door and looks less bulky. I also replaced the passenger side mirror with a convex one which is a great improvement. Finally, I painted them with bedliner for durability.
