Something wrong!

First of all: Moore was fast and nothing against them, but this EMPI tool could not loosen the gland nut on Porsche 356c motor. There seems to be too much slop/space between the gear centerline and socket centerline…1-2 mm less and it may have worked. Will try on VW type 1 gland and axle nuts. Took off the nut with tried and true breaker bar with extension.

Do no longer break your back

Amazing tool that will avoid you breaking your back when loosening those hub nuts. Good finish, nicely designed.

Empi 16-9602 Torque Leverage Tool F/Vw

Tool gives incredible torque. I was able to use a 3/8's drive ratchet.
Trouble is I have a 1-1/2" gland nut on my Scat crankshaft and the tool doesn't work. Only fits VW 36mm gland nut.
No problem I welded a 1-1/2" socket to the opposite side and turned the tool around. Worked perfect.
