Typically When Early Volkswagens Are Lowered It Changes The Caster Angle From Positive To Negative Which Causes The Vehicle To Wander. Caster Shims When Installed Correctly Will Help Restore Positive Caster On Your Lowered Vehicle Which Affects The Vehicle's Straight-Line Stability.

Nice pieces. I made a few modifications that I feel improves them. I trimmed off a significant portion of the flat stock so it conforms better to the shape of the door and looks less bulky. I also replaced the passenger side mirror with a convex one which is a great improvement. Finally, I painted them with bedliner for durability.
